Craig A. Foss, Au.D., F-AAA
Board Certified Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Foss, president and owner of The Hearing Clinic, established in 1982, was born and raised in Aurora, Nebraska. He received his undergraduate and masters degrees from BYU and completed an Audiology Internship at the Mayo Clinic. Craig received his Doctor of Audiology Degree from the University of Florida and is Board Certified in Audiology by the American Board of Audiology. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and has received the Scholar Award for outstanding commitment to continuing education. Dr. Foss was appointed to serve on the State Board of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology with the Nebraska Department of Health & Human Services. Since 2003, he has been an Audiology State Leader representing Nebraska at National Meetings. He is also a member of the Rotary Club of Grand Island. Dr. Foss specializes in adult hearing evaluations and hearing aid fittings. Outside of the office it brings him great joy to spend time with his wife and six grandchildren.
Kimberly J Andresen, Au.D., CCC-A, F-AAA
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Andresen, a Grand Island native, joined The Hearing Clinic, in January, 2011. Kim received her undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and her Doctor of Audiology Degree from Central Michigan University. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (F-AAA). Kim worked eight years at a large private audiology practice in Virginia before returning home. Dr. Andresen specializes in pediatrics, hearing and balance assessment, as well as hearing aid fittings and effectively communicates using American Sign Language. She is a proud member of the Third City Sertoma Club
Anna M. Murphy, Au.D., CCC-A, F-AAA
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Murphy, born and raised in Minnesota, has been proud to be able to call Nebraska her home for the last several years. She joined The Hearing Clinic in June 2019. Anna received both her undergraduate and Doctor of Audiology degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (F-AAA). She is also a member of the Grand Island Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals. Dr. Murphy specializes in pediatrics, hearing and balance assessment, as well as hearing aid fittings and adult cochlear and BAHA implants. “I enjoy creating personal connections with patients and serving individuals of all ages with their hearing healthcare needs”.
Outside of the office, Anna enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, James & Elijah.
Rita brings several years of supervisory/management experience to The Hearing Clinic. You can find her working in a variety of different areas to help assist our team in keeping the practice operating smoothly. Rita and her husband, Keith, reside in Grand Island. She enjoys spending time with her family and grandchildren, being outdoors digging in the dirt, working on home projects and camping.
Audiology Services Coordinator
Jami’s professional dedication shows in her calm and pleasant demeanor. Jami coordinates all of the out-patient clinics for Dr. Foss, and tracks all incoming and outgoing hearing aid orders and repairs.
Jami and her husband Eric have two very active boys. In her free time, she enjoys watching football and spending time with friends and family.
Patient Account Specialist
Terri has several years’ experience in multiple areas of insurance billing. She takes pride in her work making sure the patient gets the best benefit they can from their insurance company.
Terri and her husband John have one grown son, one daughter-in-law and three grandchildren who are the light of their life. Terri enjoys camping, reading and spending time outdoors.
Patient Care Coordinator
Vanessa, our bilingual receptionist, brings several years of customer service experience to the practice. She is the first staff employee that you will meet upon entering the clinic. She always greets our guests in English or Spanish with a friendly professional welcome and smile. She’s a dedicated, reliable employee that is able to multitask many job functions at one time.
Vanessa lives in Grand Island, graduated from Grand Island Senior High and attended UNK. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
Sue has worked behind-the-scenes for The Hearing Clinic since 1997. She not only handles all of the accounts payable, payroll and purchasing, but also helps with advertising and keeps the office plants happy!
Sue has two grown sons and two lovely daughter-in-laws, and when not engaged in work, you will find her happily spoiling her six grandchildren.
